You are not a horrible person. They're apparently taking for granted that you'll acquiesce to whatever arrangements suit their purpose and convenience, and they don't seem to be considering you at all. I'd be pretty miffed, too, in that sort of situation.

I agree with k425 - I think you should tell them that you feel excluded when they do this sort of thing. The fact that they have got used to the status quo doesn't in any way invalidate your feelings, nor does it disqualify you from making them known.
