Phoebe's a very nervous little cat. We got her from the cat and dog rescue place, and we think she may have been traumatised before we got her aged about 6 months.
It's also one of the reasons she isn't able to interact with the other two. She finds them fascinating and watches them all the time but doesn't ever want to join in and hisses and runs away if either of them get too close.
She doesn't like being picked up and cuddled, either, although she will sit on John's lap all day of her own accord and she would let me spend all day stroking her if I could.
