Yesterday I went to Aldi, and broke my economy rules by buying a small DAB radio for the kitchen for £27.99 !! It has a three year guarantee and is really small, which is what I need for the kitchen. It doesn't have a remote control, but that's not a problem in the kitchen, since I hardly ever use the telephone in there.
I haven't seen another one as cheap as that, so I just had to buy it while I could. I was going to call it my Christmas present from John and Charles, but Charles says it's not fair since everyone will use it. He says it comes under the heading of Household Expenses!
Anyway, when we were tuning it, or rather it was tuning itself, we discovered the Jazz, which I then tuned into on my own rajo and listened to for hours. It played all the sorts of Jazz that I like, except Trad, and they may even do that at some other time. I have now put it into the empty space on my favourites list.
