Blackberry's journal

I've spent some time this morning, while doing some boring chores, listening to a CD a friend gave me which her daughter's husband has recorded.  It's very far from awful, but it's not really special, either;  M has a good true voice and the lyrics he wrote are really good, but his guitar accompaniment is boring and predictable.  I think the group should get a guitar player and let him concentrate on singing.  I understand that he has quite a local following, though.

The main point of my post, though, is the fact that he's dedicated the whole EP to H, and it's obvious that at least two of the songs are about her.

I'm filled with envy!  Right up till the time I realised it was never going to happen, it was my secret heart's desire to have a song written about me or dedicated to me.  It's just sooooo romantic and I'm welling up right this minute thinking about how happy they are.

I pray that nothing will ever happen to upset their happiness with their new baby A.
